Summary
Tenfall is built so you control what you share and with whom. We collect only what we need to run the service, we do not sell your personal data, and we use industry-standard security for accounts, storage, and payments.
Information we collect
- Account information (email, name, profile fields you provide).
- Content you create (posts, notes, messages, photos, and videos you upload).
- Usage and device data needed for security, performance, and optional location features you enable.
- Payment metadata from Stripe when you subscribe (we do not store full card numbers).
How we use information
- Provide and improve Tenfall (authentication, hosting, notifications, maps, AI features you opt into).
- Enforce your sharing choices (mutuals, circles, per-field and per-media permissions).
- Process subscriptions and prevent abuse.
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.
- We do not auto-add tagged photos to your gallery — only what you upload (plus profile/cover sync you control).
- We do not expose private profile data to search engines; only pages you make public (e.g. public profile previews) may be indexed.
Sharing and visibility
You choose visibility per field, post, and media item (public, mutual connections, circles, or specific people). Other users see only what your permissions allow. Blocked users cannot view your content.
Service providers
We use trusted processors (e.g. hosting, database, authentication, storage, email, payments, analytics) under contracts that limit use to providing the service. A current list is available on request.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You may delete content or your account; backups may persist for a limited period for disaster recovery and legal compliance.
